Ms. Manal,
I think that Fatima did the right thing to leave this hell on earth called Egypt. It is very -dir-ty place anyway and Canada has much cleaner streets, air, and people. To be truthful, I spent three weeks in Egypt and that was a nightmare. Piles´-or-mountains of Trash everywhere including near the pyramids. In Addition, the trashy mentality of Muslims in Egypt my allow one of the prison guards to turn the respected Fatima into a slave as did Muhammed bin Amna.

I do read your articles. I do not comment because I cannot type in Arabic. Once in a while, I comment on things that I see to be very creative, and to the point. although I was raised as a believer in God and all that theory about Islamic justice and culture, etc. I have some Muslim fanatic friends which I started to distance myself from them lately.
After I have seen what Islam brought to my People in Syria and Palestine, Lebanon, Iraq, and Algiers, I realized that there cannot be a living,´-or-existing, God. All the sick minds that preach Islam and its teaching appear to be like a cancer that need to be rounded up from the roots. I have a theory that Arabs, and particularly Muslims, are people of the past and will never have any future. But will the hope clinched to some of the enlightenment writers like you, Sami Aldeeb, and others, there might be hope to uplift these people from the bottom marches of their beliefs. Reagrds,
